ASSISTANT SECRETARY OCHOA TO PARTICIPATE IN WEBINAR ON THE STATE OF LATINO COLLEGE COMPLETION IN ALL 50 STATES
Eduardo Ochoa, assistant secretary for Postsecondary Education, will take part in an Excelensia in Education webinar on the current status of college completion among Latinos at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10. He will comment on the data and information contained in their release of 50 separate research-based facts sheets detailing Latino achievement in each state. He will also discuss the importance of boosting college attainment for Hispanics and outline steps the Obama Administration is taking to improve college affordability, access and completion.
